Is Mark Hatfield a Flip Flopper?

Georgia Representative Mark Hatfield appeared on RC Radio last night. He had some late breaking news that he had made some significant changes to the bill that included removing unconstitutional provisions such as the requirement that a candidate may have never held dual citizenship. He also said that to prove that the bill was not just an anti-Obama bill he was changing the effective date until after the 2012 election. Here is what he said:

OK, that sounded like a move in the right direction. However, today Hatfield has been quoted on a Birther web site, Obama Release Your Records, as saying that he now really wants to make sure this bill applies to Obama and would folks please call the Georgia legislature and support his bill:

Please understand that I am dealing with recalcitrant leadership which will not allow the bill to move through the committee process. We are trying to get the bill dislodged from subcommittee, and this proposal was made in an attempt to get the House leadership to allow the bill to be considered. The bill would not be required to stay in this form, but we have to try something to get the bill moving. If we don't get some movement right away, the bill will be dead for the year. You don't need to convince me that Obama needs to be subject to a law requiring proof of eligibility; I believe it wholeheartedly and have been actively advocating for it for years. Your efforts would be better spent contacting the leadership of the Georgia House and demanding that the bill be allowed to move. Nothing short of massive public outcry is going to get their attention it seems. I would appreciate your efforts and continued support of the bill.

Please pass this information on. I don't need people on my own side throwing me under the bus! Thanks!

So golly gee Mr. Hatfield, do you mean this really was all about Barack Obama after all?

By the way, Obama Release Your Records, you  included a copy of a clip from my show and added your Obama hate crap without any attribution. It hasn't gone unnoticed.

  1. On RC Radio Rep. Hatfield did more bobbing and weaving than an outmatched boxer, but he couldn't hide the fact that this mean-spirited, unconstitutional bill is indeed all about President Obama. This morning's revelations are just more proof of what we already knew last night. He's a liar.

  2. Hatfield is a low-rent Huckabee; he says what he thinks his audience wants to hear.

  3. I believe a state and it’s people have to right to ask for any documentation THEY FEEL will satisfy a candidate’s qualifications under Article 2 Section 1 of the US Constitution. Those who want to get on the ballot need to exercise “Due Dilligence” and produce the required documents. It’s really that simple. Produce the documentation or you don’t get on the ballot.

The states are sovereign and its people have right to insure that ANY (INCLUDING OBAMA) candidate placed on their ballot is eligible under the US Constitution.

    As Obama has said,

"The only people who don't want to disclose the truth are people with something to hide."

    I couldn't agree more!

  4. I like Texas Leo Berman's birther bill. It's simple and effective:

relating to certification for placement on the ballot of candidates
for president or vice-president of the United States.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 192.033, Election Code, is amended by
amending Subsection (a) and adding Subsection (d) to read as
    follows:
    (a) Except as provided by Subsection (c) or (d), the
secretary of state shall certify in writing for placement on the
general election ballot the names of the candidates for president
and vice-president who are entitled to have their names placed on
    the ballot.
    (d) The secretary of state may not certify the name of a
candidate for president or vice-president unless the candidate has
    presented:
    (1) the candidate's original birth certificate
indicating the name of the hospital and the physician of record; or
    (2) for a candidate whose birth was not documented in
the manner required by Subdivision (1), a document certifying the
candidate's birth in the United States.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011.

Since Obama has claimed he was born in a hospital, the bill would require Obama to produce the long-form hospital generated birth certificate which Ms. Nordyke and Miki Booth have both produced. The COLB wouldn't suffice and if the COLB was accepted, it would affirm the lie that Obama was born in a hospital in Hawaii.

Obama is trapped with Berman's bill.

  5. So James you have no comment on Hatfield saying one thing on the show then something different today?

Obama is not in trouble, no way, no how.

  6. I believe what Hatfield is trying to say is the he believes that Obama should held to provisions outlined in the bill. However, do the political nature of the bill, Hatfield is required to concede that this bill will not affect Obama. According to Hatfeild this is neccessary to gain traction on the bill so it can move forward. Later, the bill will be enforced to include Obama. Perhaps Hatfield is trying some inside planning to get the bill passed. In listening to Mark last night, he never gave any indication that Obama should not held to this bill.

James, if the bill is passed with an effective date of 2013 just how will it "be enforced to include Obama"? Will Georgia just say "well, we always meant to include Obama but we had to lie to get it passed so show me your footie certificate, dark looking guy."

It doesn't matter because this bill is going to die as are the ones in most other states.

    Other facts:

    - Lucas Smith is a convicted forger and his Kenyan birth certificate is another poor forgery.

    - Obama was not born in Canada even though Ann Dunham was in Seattle at one time and Phil Berg once submitted a forged Canadian birth certificate signed by Dudley Doright to a federal court as an exhibit.

    - James has obviously never stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.

  9. The old bringing the knife to a gunfight trick. It doesn't work there James. How long will it take before you figure it out???

  10. Perhaps an admendent will be put forward later to include Obama in the law by changing the effective date.
Even though Lucas Smith is a convicted forger, I do believe story and I believe he obtained the BC in question from Kenya. Lucas Smith was prepared to testfy under oath about how he obtained the BC. I don't believe he would lie in those circumstances as he would be setting himself up for purjury and I don't believe he take that sort of risk. As to the validity of BC, it's different to tell because no one is willing to cooperate.

  11. I do believe there is a chance Obama was born in Canada.

I would like to believe Obama was born in Hawaii and think there is a chance he was born in Hawaii.

However, if he was born Hawaii, he was likely born at home and not in the hospital.

I believe almost 100% he was not born at Kapaloni Hospital in Hawaii.

Obama may be refusing to release his birth certificate because it will show he was born at home and expose his nativity story as a lie.

  12. "James said... I do believe there is a chance Obama was born in Canada."

Yeah the Birth cert was even found and buried. Philip berg used it in his first law case. However an image was saved

"Obama may be refusing to release his birth certificate because it will show he was born at home and expose his nativity story as a lie. "

Scrub that! That would make him an NBC!

  13. Putting the NBC argument aside for the moment, if Obama was born at home in Hawaii, he would eligible to serve as the POTUS.

However, Obama's nativity story would a lie.

Obama may be concealing his records to protect that lie.

Actually, this contention is shared by Andy Martin who does believe that Obama was born in Hawaii at home but believes that Obama Sr. may not be the father.

That's not an argument that Obama isn't a natural-born citizen. That's an argument that you, James, are among the most gullible people on the face of the planet.

"Lucas Smith was prepared to testfy under oath about how he obtained the BC. I don't believe he would lie in those circumstances as he would be setting himself up for purjury and I don't believe he take that sort of risk."

You don't believe that he would lie and say that he's prepared to testify to his tail under oath? Telling birthers he would testify in court does not put him at risk of perjury. Perjury would require actually doing so. So far he has done no such thing.

"As to the validity of BC, it's different to tell because no one is willing to cooperate."

Indeed, he Lucas Smith has shown no evidence to back up his story. He offered the document, but no one wanted to pay what he was asking.

Because he really really wanted to be the fourth U.S. President who was born in a hospital, instead of the 40'th born at home? James, if you're going to make up stories, wouldn't you be better off picking lies that would make sense?

  16. Oh yeah, I can really see Obama evilly changing his life story to him being born in a hospital for no reason when he could have spent the time changing other more serious facts, like him being born a US/British dual citizen. Oops he put that little fact up on his fight the smears website himself. How could the huge conspiracy have let that one through? At least they didn't let anyone know that he was a Kenyan citizen till he was 23. Oh no, he put that fact up on his fight the smears website too. The idiot!

Yes there would be riots if they found out a black guy was born at home instead of at a hospital. He had to change that to keep his reputation for toughness, or something. Really.
